Important: TaxTidy Is Not a CPA or Tax Advisor

TaxTidy is a software tool for organizing receipts and tracking business expenses. TaxTidy does not provide tax advice, legal advice, or accounting services. TaxTidy is not a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Enrolled Agent, or licensed tax professional. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your tax filings. Always consult a qualified tax professional before making tax-related decisions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TaxTidy (the "Service"), operated by Gravity Culture Coaching LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

TaxTidy is an AI-powered receipt scanning and expense tracking application. The Service allows you to:

  • Upload and scan receipts using optical character recognition (OCR)
  • Automatically categorize expenses by IRS deduction category
  • Track and organize business expenses
  • Generate tax summaries and audit readiness reports
  • Chat with Fin, an AI-powered assistant, about your expenses and deductions
  • Import bank statements for transaction matching
  • Export your data as CSV or PDF reports

3. Disclaimer of Tax Advice

THE SERVICE IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL TAX ADVICE.

  • TaxTidy does not prepare, file, or submit tax returns on your behalf.
  • AI-generated categorizations and deduction suggestions are estimates and may be incorrect. You are responsible for verifying all information before using it for tax purposes.
  • Fin (our AI assistant) provides general information based on your expense data, not personalized tax advice. Fin's responses should not be relied upon as professional tax guidance.
  • We are not responsible for any tax outcomes, penalties, audits, or financial losses resulting from your use of the Service.
  • Always consult a qualified CPA, Enrolled Agent, or licensed tax professional for tax preparation and filing decisions.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data— You are responsible for the accuracy of all data you enter, upload, or import into the Service.
  • Compliance— You are responsible for compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
  • Account Security— You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Lawful Use— You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • Prohibited Uses— You may not use the Service for money laundering, tax fraud, or any other illegal activity. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

5. Subscription Terms

  • Free Tier— Available at no cost with usage limits (first 25 lifetime scans, 60-day receipt image storage, 3 Fin messages per day).
  • Paid Plans— Pro ($12.99/month or $99.99/year) and CPA ($19.99/month or $179.99/year) plans are billed via Stripe. Prices are in USD.
  • Billing— Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Stripe handles all payment processing.
  • Cancellation— You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings. Your access to paid features will continue through the end of your current billing period. No prorated refunds are issued for partial periods.
  • Refunds— Refund requests within 14 days of initial subscription may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for refund inquiries.
  • Price Changes— We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at their current rate through the end of their billing period.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and branding, is the property of Gravity Culture Coaching LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Termination

  • By You— You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Data & Privacy > "Delete Account." This permanently removes all your data.
  • By Us— We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRAVITY CULTURE COACHING LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR TAX OUTCOMES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gravity Culture Coaching LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your tax filings based on information from the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
